| Description： Activated alumina is a highly porous form of aluminium oxide. It has high adsorption, high surface area and high pore volume. The size is smaller, the related strength is smaller, but the adsorption capacity is higher. Activated alumina play a crucial role in many different applications. As desiccant, it can be used to dry compressed air and other gas and liquid streams. Activated alumina can work with molecular sieve in air compressed dryer as deeply remove moisture. As adsorbent, it can remove fluoride from drinking water and remove arsenic, sulfur etc. As catalyst, it can use as a inert carrier, substrate other catalysts and claus catalyst etc. Also can use in hydrogen peroxide production. Activated alumina dew point can arrive -40℃. It can be regenerated by heating at 150~230 centigrade. |
